Pilates is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength and endurance movements. It emphasises proper postural alignment, core strength and muscle balance. Pilates is named after its creator, Joseph Pilates, who developed the exercises in the 1920s. It has been proven to an excellent method of exercise to rehabilitate the body and to help with the stress of modern living on our bodies.

As the first – and original – Pilates venue in Tunbridge Wells, opening in 2001, we have guided and instructed thousands of clients working out daily on Reformers, Mat, TRX and Barre. For sixteen years now we’ve helped clients tone muscles, walk taller and add more life to their years.
The important distinction between Sandrine’s Pilates and other studios is that our instructors are deeply involved with clients’ needs, working with you to design the most suitable workout. All our instructors are trained and experienced in modifying exercises and routines so that you can enjoy Pilates safely and effectively, but still be fully challenged.
Another key element of our overall approach is the ambience at the studio. Fully kitted with the finest range of Pilates equipment, the studio is open-plan and filled with natural light, giving a spacious, relaxing New York loft feel. We have created a very welcoming environment at the studio. Everyone is very friendly, it is like a big family.

BarrePlus combines elements of Ballet, Pilates and Aerobics. Born in the Navy SEALs, TRX Suspension Training develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. This high-intensity, effective total-body workout will help build a solid and strong core whilst also improving muscular endurance.
Rebounding is a full body cellular and detoxifying exercise that burns even more calories than running. It is a low impact workout which is safe on your joints. Not only does it help clear your lymphatic system, combating cellulite, but also vastly boosts your serotonin levels and is super fun.
